נצא ממבואת ראס עלי על שביל הבטון לכיוון צפון-מזרח, נחצה את נחל ציפורי על גשרון, ונמשיך על שביל הבטון (המסומן עכשיו בסימון שבילים ירוק), לאורך הגדה הימנית של הנחל כאשר מעלינו נמצא אנחנו בפרסה, הולכים בלב עמק רחב המשובץ חלקות של חקלאות מסורתית/מקומית. כאשר שביל הבטון (והנחל) מתעקל דרומה נראה מולנו את טחנת עליל, אליה נעלה לאחר שנחצה את ערוץ הנחל על גשרון אל הגדה הימנית. מיד לאחר הגישרון נעזוב את שביל הבטון ונטפס לטחנה, ממנה הדרך קצרה אל המבואה ממנה התחלנו.
- אופציונלי- עליה לתצפית תל חלי: לפני ששביל הבטון מתעקל דרומה הוא נפגש עם דרך רכב העולה צפונה (בצומת השבילים מוצב שלט הכוונה לתצפית תל חלי). אנחנו עולים עם הדרך עד לשלט הכוונה נוסף המורה לשביל העולה מערבה אל תל חלי, ממנו נשקפת הפרסה בכל הדרה ומעליה הכפר ראס עלי. הירידה מהתצפית חזרה אל שביל הבטון מעט תלולה, ומחייבת זהירות. (המסלול הכולל אופציה זו הוא באורך 3.7 ק”מ וברמת קושי בינונית)
