מסלול קסום בין מים, טבע והיסטוריה.
טיול קל, קצר ומהנה. נצא ממבואת ראס עלי המרשימה שבה אלמנטים רבים, דוגמת הפסיפס הקהילתי, הממחישים את חיבור הקהילות המקומיות אל הנחל. נרד על שביל הבטון לכיוון צפון-מזרח, נחצה את נחל ציפורי על גשרון הולכי רגל, ונמשיך על שביל שביל נחל ציפורי (שביל בטון) לאורך הגדה הימנית של הנחל עד אשר נבחין ב’סולם דגים’, שהותקן על סכר של תחנה הידרומטרית באפיק הנחל. הגענו כעת לפרסת ראס עלי. נמשיך בנעימים את המסלול, בצל עצי פקאן מרשימים כאשר מעלינו נמצא הכפר ראס עלי, שהנחל ארוג בהיסטוריה, בזיכרונות ובמורשת של תושביו. נלך בלב עמק רחב המשובץ חלקות של חקלאות מקומית, כשלאורך הנחל נפגוש במספר עצי ערבה מחודדת לצד צמחיית נחלים מגוונת. כאשר הנחל (ואיתו שביל הבטון) מתעקל דרומה נראה מולנו את שרידי טחנת עליל, נתקדם לעבר הטחנה, נחצה את ערוץ הנחל על גשרון אל הגדה השמאלית ונגיע למרגלות הטחנה. כאן נתרשם מגודלה ועוצמתה של הטחנה. מנקודה זו מטיילים עם עגלות ילדים צריכים לחזור באותה הדרך אל המבואה ממנה יצאנו. מקטע השביל המתואר כאן ממבואת ראס עלי עד לגשר הקשתות החוצה את נחל ציפורי ב’פרסה’ (כ-4 ק”מ הלוך-חזור) נמצא בתהליכי קבלת אישור נגישות (בשלבי תכנון וביצוע).

You can reach nearby towns by bus and walk to the stream from there. For example: Ras Ali, Alon HaGalil, or the HaMovil Junction from which you can continue into the Yiftah-El Brook.
Yes, dogs are welcome! However, since many people visit the stream and there are also animals belonging to local residents, it’s important to keep dogs on a leash.
You may go into the water only at Ein Yivka (Horse Spring). Please remember that entering the water is at your own risk, and there are no lifeguard services.
